The Lithuanian interior football team presently orders 49th in the Aug 2010 FIFA rankings. The interior team forms portion of the UEFA alliance and represents its home games at 'S Darius and S Girenas' Arena, with a capacity of 9180. Until now, the Lithuanian interior football team has never qualified for a World Cup or for a European Title. They are attempting to qualify for the 2012 European Title to be co-hosted by Ukraine and Poland. They were drawn in Group I, comprising of World Champions Spain, the Czech Republic, Scotland, and Principality of Liechtenstein.
The new home shirt of Lithuania is supplied by Denmark-based athletic wear brand Hummel. The shirt has a yellow base of operations color with a white and green round-neck collar. The sides of the collar are green, while the primal part is white. The logo of the manufacturers appears in white just below the collar. There are green details on the sleeves and white V-shapes, distinctive of Hummel, on the articulatio humeris. The shirt is complemented by green shorts with white edges and white V shapes on the sides, and by yellow socks.
